Legislator Muratore to Sponsor Easter Egg Hunt at Hobbs Farm

Selden, NY - Legislator Tom Muratore (4th L.D.) will be co-sponsoring a community Easter Egg Hunt at Hobbs Farm, located at 178 Oxhead Road in Centereach on Saturday, April 16th. The event will be held from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, and rain date is Sunday, April 17th. The other co-sponsors are Hobbs Farm and Councilwoman Kathy Walsh.

This FREE event will include crafts, entertainment, face painting, prizes, and of course, the egg hunt. Food items will be offered for sale, and donations to Hobbs Farm, a non-profit entity that grows food to support local food pantries, are certainly welcome. Children ages 2 through 11 are invited to participate.

“The Halloween party we held last October was such an overwhelming success, we decided to offer an egg hunt to kick off the spring season,” stated Legislator Muratore. “I am committed to providing this wonderful community with family friendly events, and encourage the support of Hobbs Farm, a great local resource.”

While this is a FREE event, each child must have a ticket to participate. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to the first 300 children.
